Connecticut Doula
I am a certified birth doula with Doulas of North America (DONA). I work for the pregnant woman (and their partner), and therefore can attend your birth where ever you choose. I have had vigorous training in childbirth and am a mother myself. I've also been trained in hypno-birthing, use of rebozos, spinning babies, aromatherapy, acupressure and take pride in continually updating my skills.
Reiki Master
I am also a reiki practitioner and easily incorporate the healing energy of reiki into my doula practice at the request of my clients. All of these things help me to be a better assistant and advocate for birthing women.
